About VegaRise

The team behind VDocs and why we built it.

Where we come from

Before founding VegaRise, our developers spent years building commercial PDF and Word processing products at an established software company. We know the space well — the edge cases, the format quirks, the performance traps that only show up in production.

Why we built VDocs

Working with .NET document generation for so long, we kept running into the same frustrations: OpenXML SDK is powerful but punishing to work with, Word Interop ties you to a Windows server with Microsoft Office installed, and most third-party libraries either wrap the same low-level XML or carry heavy dependencies of their own.

We believed we could do better — a library built from the ground up with a clean API, a unified DOM that outputs DOCX, PDF, and HTML from the same code, and a footprint small enough to ship in a container without a second thought. VDocs is that library.

Our commitment

VDocs is actively maintained and commercially supported. We use it ourselves, which means bugs get fixed and features get added based on real-world usage — not a backlog shaped by committee. If something doesn't work, we want to know.
